You could come and go as you pleased with keys and you felt as though you were staying in a home. The beds are particularly comfortable. Breakfast is excellent.
Dislikes:
I minor niggle, the mirror in the bathroom had no light on it so it was difficult to use for putting on makeup. Also it might have been rather high for a shorter person.

Dislikes:
I couldn't access the internet from my room but I didn't ask if there was a problem with the settings and the main lights didn't work in the room.

This the second time my husband & I stayed at the Ashtree house hotel the night before an early morning flight out of Glasgow airport the next morning. The staff are friendly & helpful, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is located in a lovely area of Paisley, within easy walking distance to sights like the abbey & only a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. The Ashtree is an excellent value for money, and is much more enjoyable and affordable than an airport hotel. Read less

The room was very good value for money. Two double beds in a very spacious room. A nice touch having a DVD player as well as the flat screen television. Also, the bathroom was very luxurious.
Dislikes:
My only recommendation to the hotel would be to include complimentary shampoo as well as shower gel.

The owners and staff were very helpful,nothing a problem to them.
Dislikes:
recieve toast and coffee about ten minutes before cooked breakfast arrives. like having two breakfasts if you like warm toast.

We are surprised that none of these items were mentioned during your stay. Maintenance and housekeeping items now fixed and would have been if you had said at the time. The room was not one of our premier rooms and therefore the showerrooms are smaller as determined by the fact that the building is listed. If you had seen one of our larger rooms you would know that our rooms are not basic as suggested. Breakfasts are cooked fresh to order and therefore take longer than pre-cooked food kept hot.
